In the last 15 years or so the Pont has become a bit more of a park-entertainment zone. Before that, for a few thousand years, it was pretty much left alone. OK, the trains, extra bridge and the dirigibles were my idea.

Stormy night in France
This is a sketch from a little 3 x 4 book I made for drawings and notes. I looked out the window on our drive through a very hilly part of France and the lightning revealed this sight down below about 600 feet.
